Welcome to Festival Mozaic
If you were expecting to access the San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival web site, you may have noticed that things have changed. Fear not, the name may have changed, but the quality of our programs and music-making remain the same.
So, what’s in a name?
Our new name is meant to evoke both our long-standing ties to the music of Mozart, as well as encompass the great variety of musical experiences the festival offers you. Our programs, incomparable venues and bounty of all the Central Coast has to offer all come together - as in a mosaic – to form a unique experience you can only get here with us. Festival Mozaic is five centuries of the world's greatest music, all on California’s beautiful Central Coast.
This summer's program explores the concept of Time and how we experience it through music. From Mozart, Beethoven and the sounds of 15th century Master Guilliame Du Fay, moving through time to the innovative artists of the Festival's Fringe Series, we offer you listening experiences grown from the great classical tradition.
